A VARIETY OF computer peripherals will make their debut at Comdex in Las Vegas this week, with most of the gadgets coming from innovative, smaller technology companies.
Mobility Electronics will display its EasiDock series of laptop docking I stations, which the company claims is the first universal 32-bit docking solution.
The base model, EasiDock USB 200, offers Universal Serial Bus (USB), printer, serial, mouse, and keyboard ports for $129. The Easi
Dock 1000 adds four full 12MB USB ports, parallel and serial ports, and 10/100Base-T Ethernet for $249. The EasiDock 2000 allows the user to expand the system to his or her PC for $399, while the high-end EasiDock 3000 - loaded with CDROM and Zip-drive expansion bays, two PCI expansion slots, and two EIDE drive bays - sells for $499.
