Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex sought a "distinguished-image" statement for its high-end Power Blender, to differentiate it from other brands.
"I was really looking for something that would set this product apart," explains Terry Myers, manager of industrial design for the Glen Allen, Va., smallelectrics maker. "We had seen a threedimensional nameplate we liked in Europe a year ago."
