We now have the machines to do simpler parts
On the DECO Sigma 20, we're talking 6 axes instead of 12. On the DECO Sigma 8, it's 7 axes. The new machines perform a modest number of operations with 12 - 22 tools. The new models are also priced right yet pack tremendous capabilities. Just because these machines are designed for less complex parts, they are in keeping with Tornos' fundamentals of high precision (the 8sp offers precision ±1 micron!), quality components, beefy horsepower, speedy setups and production, and easy maintenance. Further, you have a choice of programming approaches: you can program these with conventional Gcode (ISO) programming right at the machine or use our own TB-DECO ADV software offline on a PC.
