The Federal Aviation Administration will hold two of its annual meetings in March. These meetings will present the FAA's forecast of commercial and general aviation activity for fiscal years 1996 through 2007. The 21st Annual Commercial Aviation Forecast Conference will be held March 5 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. The focus will be "Expanding Opportunities for World Air Travel." Keynote speakers will be Rep. John Duncan and FAA Administrator David Hinson. FAA's 6th Annual General Aviation Forecast Conference will be held March 26 & 27 in Tampa, Fla. TI ROUTE DEVELOPMENTS * TWA will increase frequencies in several trans-Atlantic markets this spring. Starting March 2, TWA will increase New York JFK-Rome service to daily from the current five days per week. JFK- Athens services will be flown five days per week, up from the current three weekly trips.
Beginning March 17, New York Kennedy-Madrid service will see change of gauge, from Boeing 767 aircraft up to 747 equipment, flying daily, with continuing service to Barcelona. Barcelona is currently served through Lisbon. JFK-Paris operations, now served daily with 767s, will...
