MJA The Federal Government's Healthy Kids Check is not evidence based and needs to be changed to better monitor the health of preschool children, a new study claims.
Researchers from the department of general practice at Monash University said the mandatory components in the Healthy Kids Check were "ill-defined and lacked rationale" after comparing them with 34 relevant clinical practice guidelines and systematic reviews.
