Forget the latest mobile phone, the future of IT lies in nanotechnology enabling everything from video tattoos and "smart make-up" to computer chips in your brain and interactive contact lenses. BT futurologist Ian Pearson told delegates at this year's CIMA annual conference that advances in IT and data storage will mean that information currently stored on mobile devices will soon be accessible from transfers applied directly to the skin. "Anything you can do on a BlackBerry you'll be able to do on a disposable video tattoo." he said.
