ORLANDO - A California simulation company has settled on Orlando to build virtual worlds.
Quantum3D Inc. is relocating a 3-D rendering studio to Orlando from Huntsville, Ala. Quantum previously had a two- or threeperson sales office in Orlando. By year's end, it will have more than a dozen programmers working on "synthetic environments."
Quantum3D's military customers have a deep interest in virtual terrain that is accurate and consistent with up-to-date realworld versions.
