A play he admits to having written in some haste has won a Stirling writer a national plaudit.
John Coutts, who is poet in residence at the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, has won the 2017 National Drama Award, presented by the Arts Centre Group in London.
The theme of the competition was'faith in contemporary society'.
