DVD programs are bursting out all over, as studios-and, increasingly, video wholesalersare making more money from DVD and thus pulling out the stops to energize sales of the disc format.
Last week, Valley Media (formerly Star Video) unveiled its new DVD Dealer's Choice program. It offers retailers of any size the opportunity to promote DVD, or to have a complete rental and sellthrough presence.
With a starting price of $14.95 for DVD signage only, Dealer's Choice goes as high as $2,699 to include a DVD kiosk, signage, and up to 112 units of software, depending on the display.
