Stampede Meat voluntarily recalls frozen beef

Abstract

Stampede Meat Inc has begun a voluntary recall for about 739,000 pounds of frozen beef produced the week of March 17-22, 2003, that may be contaminated with E coli 0157:H7. The product was distributed to restaurants, institutions, and retail stores and to companies conducting door-to-door sales throughout the United States.
