AHA's workforce case examples

The AHA has published another 1 15 examples of workforce strategies that are helping hospitals and health systems recruit and retain needed employees. "Workforce Ideas in Action 4" brings to 564 the total number of case examples published by AHA since the April 2002 report by the AHA Commission on Workforce for Hospitals and Health Systems titled In Our Hands: How Hospital Leaders Can Build a Thriving Workforce, which detailed strategies and recommendations for addressing the nation's growing workforce crisis. The latest case study book has been mailed to all AHA-member CEOs and to members of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration, an AHA personal membership group.
