Company IDs-they can strike fear in the hearts of many employees. The thought of having to walk around the office wearing a never flattering photo of themselves does not appeal to many employees. The photo quality is usually that of a driver's license photo. However, with the advancements in technology, the quality of the photos and printing has greatly improved.
While wearing company badges may not be "all the rage" with employees, but in this day and age with the increase of violence, it is important for companies to make the workplace secure. Employee IDs are an integral part of company security. They allow workers to immediately identify if that person walking down the hall belongs there or not.
Reasons
There are plenty of advantages to issuing employee IDs and having them wear the IDs.
