Kurt Damron has returned to work six months after a terrible fire at his Undercover Chassis' Leesburg, Fla., facility resulted in life-threatening injuries and extensive rehabilitation that will continue for the foreseeable future. Damron, the 1990 NHRA Super Comp champion, plans to work as much as his doctor's appointments, physical therapy, and stamina allow.
Damron, wife Suzanne, and their family thank all of the customers, vendors, and extended racing family for the cards, letters, support, and prayers during his recovery.
Upon his return, Damron finalized the dissolution of his three-year partnership with Mike Archbold that was begun prior to the accident. Through a mutual agreement, Archbold has decided to return to his hometown of Nashville, Tenn., to pursue other interests. Undercover Chassis can be reached at (352) 323-3337.
