Gen X Fights Back
To the Editor:
My company recently subscribed to your magazine. The second magazine I received had a survey result, which blamed "Generation X" as the reason for privacy and collection practices legislation. I take great exception to that position. My partner and I are both 20 somethings and take great pride in collecting in a professional and compassionate manner. We follow all guidelines and regulations. This has not hampered our ability to run our company with great success. In fact, it should be Gen X that blames those who came before us for these new laws. As we all know, legislation does not take place overnight. In order to compete in this new debtorfriendly environment, you must change with the times and public policy. It is not difficult to be professional, compassionate, and successful at the same time.

Methods
To the Edits
I would like to see a section from different companies and their top collectors on their methods and how they collect big balance accounts. Focus on the employees of different debt collection agencies and credit card banks.
