Hopes to win more high-yield and securitization mandates
After an eighteen month sabbatical to pursue long-standing political and academic career interests, corporate finance pro Joseph Sebastian Fichera has returned to Wall Street.
Prudential Securities last week hired Fichera as a managing director and head of a newly created group to focus on business origination and development.
The high-profile investment banker, best known for his innovation in the preferred securities product arena in the late eighties, will focus on developing client relationships through product development and advisory services. Initially the group will concentrate on two primary areas: highyield bond origination and utility strandedcost securitization. He reports to Paul Scura, head of investment banking.
