In August 2017, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) received approval from the U.S. Department of Labor and Department of Veterans Affairs to become the first luxury automotive manufacturer to offer a registered apprenticeship program in four U.S. states, certifying MercedesBenz DRIVE as part of the National Apprenticeship System.
