Associated Software Consultants plans to make 20 improvements to its PowerLender loan origination software, including pricing and product eligibility upgrades.
"We have 20 projects that we're now discussing for future upgrades," said Timothy W. Liston, president of ASC. "Functionally, we're looking at elements to enhance PowerLender's usability from a platform perspective. We're also looking at ways to streamline the customization process. "Specifically, we'll enhance the product eligibility feature so that when you put in criteria on a borrower, PowerLender will do a better job in finding the right loan for that borrower," he continued. "Pricing and product eligibility are two key enhancements that we're looking at."
ASC just completed an interface to Freddie Mac's Loan Prospector and is now working on a like Fannie Mae interface.
