Executive Board elects Hearne, Marshall as new board leaders

APHA'S EXECUTIVE Board has new leadership at its helm.

During its two days of meetings, held before the start of APHA's 130th APHA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in November, the Executive Board elected Shelley Hearne, DrPh, as the new board chair. Hearne, who is executive director of the Trust for America's Health in Baltimore, previously served as board vice chair.

Edwin Marshall, OD, MS, MPH; a professor at Indiana University School of Optometry, was elected as the board's new vice chair.
