Boston -Ever since a group of colonial hooligans snuck aboard three British sailing ships anchored in Boston Harbor and threw their cargo of tea overboard, Boston has been closely associated with the Revolutionary War that won this nation's independence from England.
The city that plays host to this year's annual MBA convention offers visitors many opportunities to get a taste of America's early history and enjoy some nice fall weather at the same time.
The Freedom Trail: Starting in Boston Common near the Visitor's Center booth, this 2.5 mile trail leads you past 16 historic sites, including Paul Revere's house, the site of the Boston Massacre, the Bunker Hill monument, and Faneuil Hall (which became known as the "Cradle of Liberty" because protests against the British were frequently held there). The trail has two loops, one through downtown Boston and one through the Beacon hill area, so people who don't feel up to the entire three miles can cut the trip in half by concentrating on just one loops.
