Eighty former employees of the defunct Cumulus Corp. are suing Star Bank NA., the computer hardware maker's largest creditor, for unpaid wages and benefits.
The class action suit was filed March 5 in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court by Cleveland attorney Alan Belkin. The suit doesn't specify a dollar amount for the unpaid wages and benefits.
But, according to Pat Cumberledge, a plaintiff in the suit, Star Bank owes the ex-Cumulus employees $236,000 in wages and pay for unused vacation time. Star Bank last fall took over operations at the financially troubled computer company as a...
