Jorge Parczyk, Contributing Editor to our sister magazine TECHNOLOGIA MILITAR, recently spoke with Hans Lindgren, General Manager/Commercial Vessels of Storebro, Sweden.
The discussion focused on the Storebro 90E - a very fast multi-purpose patrol and landing craft, built by Storebro Bruks AB and marketed in co-operation with Celsius AB, Sweden. As Lindgren explained, this is a completely new type of vessel for special tasks. Built for extra demanding sea-duties, the advanced design with minimum displacement and draft gives this highly manoeuvrable vessel excellent speed, acceleration and braking resources together with an extremely tight turning radius.
