Perry Tritech, Inc. has been awarded a contract for four Triton ST200 Advanced Cable Maintenance ROV systems for Global Marine Systems Ltd. The order follows the delivery of two ST200 systems now operational in the Far East. Perry Tritech has also delivered one of the world's most advanced cable plows to Caldwell Cable Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Advanced Technology Systems. The system, designated Deep Venture 1, incorporates many new and advanced plow technologies, such as a subsea cable engine, a swept-flow jetting system and special materials to reduce system weight and develop high-speed performance. Perry has also been awarded a contract from Tyco Submarine Systems Ltd. for the supply of Seaplow IX. This follows the success of Seaplow VIII which was delivered to Tyco in 1998.
