Water
Dando Engineers have been involved with extracting fresh water from the ground since 1867. Over the years we have been involved with windmills, pumps, tanks and all types of equipment associated with ground water usage but for the last few decades we have concentrated on the most important area which is drilling and the design and manufacture of drilling rigs and equipment.
We have worked in some of the most inhospitable and and places on earth and it still surprises us that in areas where there is terrible drought good water can often be found a few tens of meters below our feet. Access to that water can provide something of a challenge but with the correct equipment and a small amount of knowledge it is not very difficult.
The first and most important considerations are that the equipment must be appropriate to the culture, infrastructure, skill level, available funds and geology existing in the project area.
