WIN 95 Gate 2000's Solo S90 Best Buy packs all the amenities of a desktop computer into a sleek, 5.6-pound notebook. This taste of high-tech caviar costs $4,799, but that's a fair price for what's included. To start, there's a 90MHz Pentium processor--a decent engine for handling the preinstalled Windows 95 and such bundled 32-bit applications as Microsoft Office Pro 95. To back up its processor with some memory muscle, the Solo also includes 16MB of RAM, 256K of secondary cache memory, and a 1.2GB removable hard drive.
