Available at a street price of $249, the Okipage 6e was the least expensive laser printer we tested. Okidata fudges slightly on what it calls "600dpi-class" printing (it's actually 300 by 1,200dpi, but the number of dots per square inch comes out the same), but the Okipage prints consistent text-comparable in quality with the other printers we tested.
