The Micro Express MicroFlex 38A is both impressively fast and designed for future expansion. The system, which costs $2834 and is powered by an AMD 2.4-GHz Athlon 64 3800+ processor, earned a very high score of 106 in our WorldBench 5 tests.
Some thought obviously went into the case design. The two USB 2.0 ports, microphone plug, and headset plug are mounted in the top of the case, under a small lid. This makes them much more convenient to use when the system is placed on the floor (as midsize towers usually are). A number of other computer lines put the ports on the bottom of the front panel.
