The study attempts to address various issues relating to horticulture sector of India with particular reference to evaluating diversification of agriculture, marketing of high value crops, and the extent of investment made by various agencies over time towards creation of PHI related facilities for these valued crops across various states in India, aside from assessing strategies, policies and regulations encompassing horticulture sector.
