ViewDraw supports both design capture and analysis. The tool provides a single point of design entry for systems, boards, ASICs, PLDs or FPGAs. Designs can be represented graphically, using block diagrams, schematics or state diagrams, or textually, using VHDL, Verilog, ABEL, JEDEC or truth tables. In addition to the library of ViewDraw components, designers can create their own symbols with graphics, labels and attributes. The ViewDraw database employs an open ASCII database.
