Abstract

The aim of this paper is to test whether the theoretical models concerning international structures and strategic approaches explain the behavior of the internationalism of firms from a newly liberalized Economy. Using a sample of 177 Spanish multinational corporations, a high correlation between the theoretical models and the development of the international strategy in the sampled firms has been validated.
