Virtually all 35mm and medium-format SLRs share a common limitation: the lenses cannot be moved off-axis to make perspective corrections, especially shifts and tilts for the control of depth of field. (There are a small number of exceptions, in dedicated perspective control lenses for SLRs that control converging lines.) But the Zork Multi-Focus System (made by Zorkendorfer Film-und Fototechnik of Munich) is an SLR accessory system which can convert most SLRs into a camera capable of shift and tilt movements of up to 30 degrees off-axis.
The heart of the system is a unique balljointed tube with attached lens that can be mounted on a wide range of 35mm and medium-format SLR camera bodies via an adapter. Zork recommends using enlarger lenses of 90mm or longer such as the 90mm f/4.0 APO Rogonar, partly because of the need for increased coverage caused by the ball joint's ability to move a lens off-axis. These smaller lenses also keep the size of the whole system to a minimum and are capable of infinity focus...
