Glenn Rice, a 27-year-veteran of UPS, is the new person at the helm of UPS Canada.
Rice replaces Alan Gershenhorn, who has accepted an assignment as UPS Supply Chain Solutions president of global transportation and shared services.
Rice has come to know the UPS operation from the ground up, starting his career in 1977 as a package car driver before moving on to various management positions at UPS facilities across the US.
With Canadian exports totaling $457.8 billion in 2003, Rice says his primary focus will be continuing to drive the acceleration and development of UPS Canada's international and cross border business.
