Remington Arms Co. Inc., through a wholly owned subsidiary, has entered into a purchase agreement to acquire certain assets of Advanced Armament Corp. (AAC). The transaction closed on Oct. 2, 2009.
Located in Norcross, Ga., AAC is a supplier of noise-reduction and flashreduction devices and combat-related accessories for the military, government and commercial markets.
AAC will continue its operations at its Georgia location under the guidance of company founder, Kevin Brittingham, and will report to the Remington Military Products Division (MPD).
