Conexant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CNXT), Newport Beach, Calif., a leader in semiconductor system solutions for communications applications, has announced that Netopia, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTPA), a market leader in broadband equipment, software and services, has incorporated the company's single-chip asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) semiconductor solution in its entire Cayman 3300 Series of Smart Modems and Gateways. The Cayman 3300 Series of products leverage Netopia's firmware, manufacturing and distribution capabilities along with Conexant's ADSL technology leadership to win new residential deployments on multiple networks in the United States and Europe.
