Abstract

A private US foundation will formally agree this week to pay $25 million to settle a lawsuit over allegations concerning a long-running scheme under which the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) claims to have been cheated out of income from research funds. Dennis T. Mangano and his Ischemia Research and Education Foundation are involved in the charges.
