Abstract

Thereza Imanishi-Kari, an immunologist at Tufts Medical University School in Boston, has been cleared of wrongdoing by the appeals board of the US Dept of Health and Human Services ten years after allegations of scientific misconduct were leveled against her. The appeals board has opened the door to calls for reform of the current system for dealing with scientific misconduct allegations.
