Obituary: Don Craig Wiley (1944-2001)

Abstract

The disappearance and death of Don Wiley on Nov 15, 2001 in Memphis completely mystified family and colleagues. Wiley was a crystallographer. The image of a class I MHC protein with its peptide cargo firmly in place will stand as a landmark Wiley discovery that forever changed the field of immunology.
