Over 450 attend forum at Brookline synagogue
After spending more than two years in heated litigation with the Islamic Society of Boston, The David Project Center for Jewish Leadership revealed last week why it felt the Muslim group suddenly decide to abandon its lawsuit earlier this month.
Drawing more than 450 attendees to Congregation Kehillath Israel in Brookline on June 20, the discussion - "Defeating the Islamic Society of Boston Lawsuit: Why It Happened and What It Means" - gave the community a glimpse of "the data and information that emerged from the discovery process" of the litigation, according to The David Project's President Charles Jacobs.
