Abstract- In internet era, the transaction of information by using the internet media is commonly do by many people, but the information security is often experiencing constraints because the information can be accessed by someone who are not unauthenticated or irresponsible, using steganography, the information protection techniques by concealing messages in the image media by using the Significant bit insertion method, which then can be extracted again by using a special key and a special system created to describe the hidden messages in the image. The results obtained by using the least significant bit insertion method in the image and template matching for the image, it has been proven that the message can be hidden in the picture and then can be extracted again.

I. INTRODUCTION

Transaction information is an activity that is very often do by many people, some transactions information sometimes require internet technology, but there are things that are often forgotten by Internet users, namely data security. Where information circulating on the internet is open to all, with the possibility of access by all users from all over the world. In an important and sensitive case, some information is directed only to a particular user or party, in which case a protection or information security is required to protect information from unauthorized parties who have no right to access it.

Steganography is one of information protection techniques by hiding messages in the image media. With this steganography data transaction process is expected to be more secure from the parties who have the right to access it [1]. The mechanism used to detect the existence of information that is hidden in stego media and can be done prevention related information retrieval is also called Steganalysis [2].For example, the sender starts with a regular image file, then adjusts the color of every 100th pixel to insert a letter in the alphabet, so that the change between the original image and the image containing the message is so smooth that no one is aware of it.
