HP founded Agilent Technologies because it recognized the need to provide breakthrough technology and products with agility to its customers.
Living true to its corporate name, Agilent Technologies Korea is poised to make an immediate impact on the domestic market for precision measurement and components.
Under the leadership of President Yoon Seung-Ki, Agilent Technologies Korea - a global leader in measurement equipment production -already has made a name of its own in Korea since its separation from Hewlett-Packard in November 1999.
Agilent Tech was founded as a result of HP's plan to strategically realign itself into two fully independent companies. HP, a leader in computing and imaging solutions, recognized the need to provide breakthrough technology and products with agility to its customers.
Before the realignment, Agilent already was a significant contributor to HP's balance sheet. Agilent's products and services, which include communications, electronics, life sciences and healthcare, brought more than US$8 billion in revenues to HP during the company's 1998 fiscal year.
