Subperiosteal Dissection of the Lower Third of the Face for Enhancement of the Face-Lift Effect

Face-lift surgeries are widely used in todays world. Different methods have been described for the release of certain xed points and for retaining ligaments in the facial anatomy [1]. Subperiosteal release is a widely accepted endoscopic and nonendoscopic method used for the upper two-thirds of the face [2, 3]. It is believed that correction of ptosis and sagging in the lower chin and perioral regions is technically challenging.
