THE CASE
INSECURE WHEELS on a tipper have cost a London operator £1,465 in fines and costs. Charlton-based Aggregate Tippers and one of its drivers were found guilty of using a vehicle in a dangerous condition when they appeared before the Barkingmagistrates.
The company and its driver, Gary Pamphlett, of Rochester, admitted the offence after a pair of wheels were found to be insecure. The company was fined £800 with £350 costs;...
