San Mateo, Calif. - With the notion of systems-on-chips both in the news and on the minds of those in the semiconductor industry, Vadem has developed a system design technology that could shorten time-to-market for OEMs that deal in portable battery-powered products.
Vadem announced its Modular Bus Architecture (MBA) last week as a way to reduce the size, cost, and power use of chips geared to portable products. The San Jose company plans to use MBA for its own products and also to license it to other companies. Right now, Vadem says it is talking with several potential licensees.
