Life Comes Full Circle for Politzer & Haney's New President ; Ralph Dangelmaier made the board of directors at Politzer & Haney think twice before looking elsewhere for someone to lead the company.

Dangelmaier stepped up to the plate at a time when the Newton, MA- based provider of cash management solutions found itself in flux. Early last summer, the board of directors developed a program to help the company transition from the leadership of former president and chief executive officer, founder Chris Haney. "They appointed an interim president who was on the board," explains Dangelmaier, "but he wasn't someone who ever held such a position before." Sensing an opportunity to potentially shine, Dangelmaier, a six-year veteran of Politzer & Haney, came forward and mapped a strategy for the company. "It was a three year plan that included financial goals and milestones (for Politzer & Haney)."
