The International Franchise Association (IFA) Honorary Life Member designation recognizes individuals who have played a major role in the development of franchising and the association. Nominees are selected by the IFA Past Chairman's Council, approved by the Awards Committee, and elected by the IFA board of directors. Recipients must have served a minimum of five years as either a committee chair or vice chair, or as a member of IFA's board.
