HSBC Launches Brokerage Unit Next to Existing Manhattan Office ; Look out, boys. HSBC is muscling its way into one of the wealthiest enclaves in the Northeast in its bid to dominate wealth management.

SBC Brokerage, the U.S. subsidiary of HSBC Bank USA, is expanding existing New York office space at 452 Fifth Ave. to launch the HSBC Brokerage Center, its first wealth management center. Visitors can watch trading activity from the main level, as well as view up-to- the- minute financial data on large plasma screens.

The center, offering a wide range of investments services, including both full-service and discount brokerage, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Products and services available at the HSBC Brokerage Center will include domestic and international stocks and bonds; mutual funds and exchanged-traded funds; IRAs; insurance; 401(k) accounts...
