The lights and the camera may be off of former WDSU-TV anchorwoman Lynn Gansar, but the action may have just begun.
Attorneys for Gansar said last week they are drafting a lawsuit that involves charges of sexual discrimination against WDSU owner Pulitzer Broadcasting Co. of St. Louis. The suit also will allege that WDSU failed to honor an oral agreement that had been reached between Gansar and company officials regarding the terms of her contract, which was to be renewed last month. "The litigation stems from, among other things, Lynn being a woman and seeking to get pregnant," says Michael Crow, a partner with Adams & Reese who is working on the case. Crow says the lawsuit will not be formally filed until after station officials have been served with a copy and have had the opportunity to settle the matter amicably out of court.
