Abstract

In an interview, Robert Therrien, president and CEO of Brooks Automation, discusses the acquisition of PRI Automation, industry trends, and the future of the company. The merger has generated a positive and supportive attitude on both sides of the aisle. This extends from the board of directors all the way down to the rank and file. This can only lead to a stronger, healthier, long-term competitor in the industry, as well as deliver a stronger value proposition to both customers and shareholders alike. Product life-cycles are a concern.
