Abstract
The Geary Theatre has reopened in San Francisco CA as the home of the American Conservatory Theatre after a two-year, $27.5-million restoration and reinforcement of its quake-damaged house. The Loma Prieta earthquake hit in Oct 1989, and the Geary was one of the most damaged cultural venues.
