WITH A MOVE TO A NEW HEADQUARTERS AND A MAJOR NEW LAUNCH, IT'S BEEN A BUSY 12 MONTHS FOR OPI AND ITS UK DISTRIBUTORS, LENA WHITE. ANNETTE HANFORD REPORTS
Celebrating 20 years in the professional nail industry and moving to new headquarters; expanding its workforce and launching a host of new products - it's been an extremely busy and exciting year for Lena White, UK distributor of OPI professional nailcare. But the team, headed by mother and daughter, Lena White and Lisa Bennett, still found time to celebrate when company founder George Schaeffer visited the UK to launch the British Collection in their honour.
Big move
The Watford-based company moved to its new business park location earlier this year, having outgrown its previous premises. The move has allowed the introduction of separate accounts offices, a boardroom for meetings and brand awareness days, extra warehouse space, and a retail area for the public and trade accounts. In addition, a further nine members of staff have been recruited.
Blonde bombshell
After securing a Hollywood tie-in with Legally Blonde 2 - the sequel to Legally Blonde, starring Reese Witherspoon, OPI was on hand to pamper VIP guests at the film's premieres in New York, Los Angeles and London. This VIP treatment also served to celebrate the launch of OPI's Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde nail lacquer line - three new colours created for the film. As well as making several appearances in the film, OPI was also the lacquer of choice for leading lady Reese.
"We are thrilled to be on the big screen...
