Credit Suisse has rehired a senior FIG banker from Morgan Stanley to become co-head of EMEA debt capital markets — a role which will be based in Paris, rather than London.
Khalid Krim was head of FIG capital advisory and solutions at Morgan Stanley, having joined the US firm from Credit Suisse in 2011.
Before joining Credit Suisse in 2010, he was head of European hybrid capital at Barclays Capital, where he had worked since 2001.
Last year, Krim was moved, alongside other senior Morgan Stanley originators, into the senior coverage team, which was supposed to focus on more complex products on asset and liability sides, rather than straight bond issues or flow financing.
